




On April 16, 2022, two men were arrested and charged for trafficking drugs and endangering a child.
Blood Tribe Police Service, along with the RCMP Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence located on the Blood Tribe. The search of the residence resulted in 32.2 grams of Carfentanil and 1.1 grams of Methamphetamine seized.
Two young children were located inside the residence. Blood Tribe Child Protection Services are assisting with the investigation.
Two subjects were arrested on scene.
A 29 year old male, who is a resident of the Blood Tribe, was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Obstructing a Police Officer and Causing a Child to be Drug Endangered. The male was also arrested on three outstanding warrants. The male was held on cash bail to appear in Cardston Court in May.
A second male, 33, from Calgary, was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Causing a Child to be Drug Endangered. The male was released to appear in Cardston Court in May.
The names of those individuals charged are being withheld to protect the identities of the children involved.
